Primrose Hall Nursery is delighted to have been invited to exhibit at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year. Alec White, nursery man, will be bringing a fabulous display of Peonies to the Floral Marquee in an exciting arrangement called 'The Timeless Elegance of the Peony' designed alongside RHS mentor Kate Gould.

Peonies are possibly the most indulgent of all flowers, impervious to the harshest of winters they emerge spring after spring and light up the garden with masses of beautifully decadent blooms. Then, before we have really had time to appreciate them, they are gone. Petals cruelly scattered on the spring winds leaving nothing but their nostalgic perfume hanging in the air.

‘The Timeless Elegance of the Peony’ strives to tell the story of the romantic elegance of this beautiful and highly desirable perennial. Cut flowers are used to create a strikingly feminine room where the flowers adorn the walls and form a soft carpet underfoot inviting the visitor to relax on an indulgent Chaise Longue reminiscent of times gone by.

Dark walls form a dramatic backdrop perfectly showcasing the alluring blush of the blooms and drawing the eye towards a stunning chandelier festooned with graceful flowers trailing delicately towards the floor. We warmly invite you to experience the Timeless Elegance of the Peony at the floral marquee at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2016. Stand no GPD150. We’ll be waiting for you…
